Veterans Day will be observed at CCCC's Siler City Center

SILER CITY - Veterans Day will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Central Carolina Community College Siler City Center. This event will begin at 10 a.m.

Guest speaker will be Jeff Cathcart, a U.S. Navy veteran who is District Commander for The American Legion in N.C. Vocalist Victoria Chall will present patriotic music.

The observance is intended to offer gratitude for deserving men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and for the year-round sacrifices of service members and their families.

There will be presentations from students of the College and Career Readiness department.

The event is free and open to the public.
