CCCC's Division of Economic & Community Development offers variety of spring classes

SANFORD - Have you ever thought about a job in cosmetic arts? Health and medical occupations? Industry or manufacturing?

Central Carolina Community College's Division of Economic & Community Development (ECD) is offering numerous programs in the spring semester, including a variety of occupational classes that can lead to that special career for which you've been seeking.

The college also offers courses, programs, and seminars in the following areas: Animals & Pets, Artistry & Craftsmanship, Automotive Occupations, Business & Leadership, College & Career Readiness, Computer Technology, Construction, Cosmetic Arts, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts & Hospitality, Dance, Emergency Medical Services, Employment & Job Readiness, Finance, Fire & Rescue Services, Fitness, Foreign Languages, Health & Medical Occupations, Industrial/Manufacturing, Motor Vehicles & Driving, Photography, and Sustainable Living & Green Technology.

For those individuals who are interested in artistry and craftsmanship, classes are available in such areas as painting, sewing, and artistic welding.

There are a variety of Computer Technology courses that are available.

For those who are interested in Creative Writing, there are nine course offerings.

CCCC is bringing back its Natural Hair Care Specialist course to the Cosmetic Arts lineup for spring.

Work Opportunity Grants are available. These scholarships, which cover tuition and fees, are not income based and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Eligible programs include Homebuilding 102, Intro to Baking, Welding - MIG 1, and Forklift with OSHA general safety.
