Central Carolina Community College's Cougar Golf Team played against teams from Johnston Community College, Louisburg Community College, and Peace University April 4 at Anderson Creek Golf Course. In spite of the heavy rain, the teams played nine holes. Lacy Tripp (right), of CCCC, shoots for a short par putt on the par 3 4th hole as golfers from Louisburg and Johnston watch. The Cougars will play at the April 20-21 National Junior College Athletic Association's Division III, Region X regionals at Emerald Golf Club in New Bern.
