CCCC bringing 4C to the public

12.16.2006 • College & Community, College General

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) is introducing a new publication entitled 4C with the first edition scheduled for a late December distribution.

The college marketing team, working with the curriculum administration, developed the new publication to improve communication with college service area residents.

The publication's name surfaced after several brainstorming sessions. The name not only reflects the acronym for the college with its four "c's," but it also is meant to be associated with the word "foresee."

" This publication will preview new initiatives at the college," explained Jan Rider, CCCC Information and Marketing director. "For instance, this inaugural issue has several stories that report major instructional changes as well as new opportunities available for our students."

The new magazine showcases outstanding students, faculty, and college accomplishments.

" We believe it is important that our community is informed about the exceptional accomplishments of our students and college family," Rider said. "Our students, graduates, faculty and staff are excelling and are being recognized for their achievements and contributions. In just the past few weeks, three individuals from the college have been recognized by statewide organizations for their excellence."

The new publication also provides general information on college curriculum areas, distance education opportunities and registration dates.

4C will be mailed to all residents of Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties during the last week of December.
