SANFORD - The Inaugural Central Carolina Community College Athletics Golf Tournament, hosted by the CCCC Foundation, was held Saturday, June 2, at the Sanford Golf Course. Money raised will go to support the CCCC Athletics program.
Winners of the four-person superball tournament were:
First Flight
1st Place: 53 - Jack Radley, Alex Tucker, Rick Goforth, Kyle Wicker.
2nd Place: 54 - Jon McCurry, Chris Brown, Anthony Johnson, Sam Bradley.
Second Flight
1st Place: 58 - David Wicker, Andy Phillips, Joey Seagroves, Terry North.
2nd Place: 58 - Russell Tatum, Patrick Oldham, Hunter Woodell, Grant Brown.
Closest to the Pin winners were Grant Brown and Jack Radley. Long Drive winner was Alex Tucker.
The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with, but independent of, the college. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of CCCC and uses them to promote the educational mission of the college and assist students through scholarships and grants.
