Central Carolina Community College's chapter of the Phi Beta Lambda Honor Society hosted a mini-Farmers Market at the college's Lee County Campus April 22 in celebration of Earth Day. Josh Marshburn (left), owner of Garden of Eden Specialty Soaps, in Sanford, sells some of his handmade goat milk and vegan soaps to Faye Stone, CCCC Financial Aid assistant. Earth Day has been celebrated internationally since 1971 and is intended to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and living sustainably.
