NC Secretary of Commerce impressed by Innovation Center

North Carolina Secretary of Commerce Sharon Allred Decker toured the Lee County Innovation Center Aug. 8 to learn more about the industry workforce training taking place there. The Center houses Central Carolina Community College's Industry Training Center, which provides training for industries in the college's service area of Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties, and beyond. During the tour, Decker met some of the high school students taking part in the Caterpillar Apprenticeship in Welding program.
