Summerlin Page (left), Central Carolina Community College English instructor and Red Clay Review editor, congratulates Heather Thomas, writer of 'Discovery,' the winning prose piece in the 2012 Red Clay Review, during the book's release party. The college is now accepting submissions for the 2013 edition, whose theme is 'Food.' Poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, and two-dimensional art related in some way to food can be submitted for consideration. The Red Clay Review is the college's annual literary and visual arts magazine. Those associated with the college in the past or present, as well as past and present residents of Chatham, Harnett and Lee counties, are invited to submit writing and/or two-dimensional art for the Review. The deadline for submissions is May 15. The magazine will be published in the fall. Send submissions and inquiries to rcr@cccc.edu or contact Page at 919-718-7270.
