CCCC hosts first Christmas tree lighting, Santa visit

Charlee Cougar (left), Central Carolina Community College mascot, and Santa Claus invite everyone to come to the college’s campus in Sanford and get in the Christmas spirit. CCCC is hosting its first Christmas Tree Lighting and Photos with Santa event from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Lee County Campus Plaza, at the main entrance, 1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford. The event is free and open to children of all ages. After the fun, come to the campus’ Classroom Fitness Center at 7 p.m. and enjoy seeing the Cougars basketball team take on William Peace University.
