The Auction is part of Central Carolina Community College's 50th Anniversary celebration, which takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the college's Harnett County Campus, 1075 E. Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington. The celebration also features a Barbecue Cook-off, free health screenings, demonstrations by the Laser & Photonics and Machining students, and free haircuts. Don't miss the Barbecue Cook-Off during Central Carolina Community College's 50th Anniversary celebration June 2 at the college's Harnett County Campus, 1075 E. Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington. Teams of community members from Angier, Coats, Dunn and Lillington will prepare their own special recipes for mouth-watering chopped barbecue pork. Following the Cook-off, event goers can enjoy barbecue pork sandwiches while the supply lasts.
