Diane Glover (left), executive director of the Central Carolina Community College Foundation, and Dr. Paul Porterfield, chairman of the college's Veterinary Medical Technology program, proudly display a $1,000 check donated to the program's Restricted Fund by the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine. Porterfield is a NCASAM board member and the organization made the donation to honor him on his retirement from the college after more than 18 years of service.
