Diane Glover (left), executive director of the Central Carolina Community College Foundation, and Dr. Paul Porterfield, chairman of the college's Veterinary Medical Technology program, proudly display a $1,000 check donated to the program's Restricted Fund by the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine. Porterfield is a NCASAM board member and the organization made the donation to honor him on his retirement from the college after more than 18 years of service. The VMT program uses the Restricted Fund for special and/or emergency needs. For more information on the VMT program, visit the college's Web site, www.cccc.edu. For more information on making a charitable donation to CCCC, contact Glover at (919) 718-7231 or dglover@cccc.edu.
