Universities turn out for CCCC’s University Transfer Day

Representatives from 16 four-year colleges and universities took part in Central Carolina Community College’s University Transfer Day, held Nov. 13 at the college’s Lee County Campus. The representatives were there to talk to the college’s university transfer/associate degree students about the opportunities each offers to students to continue their education. Diane Hoehne (left), admissions counselor at Campbell University, in Buies Creek, talks to Jenny Tomkinson, of Lillington, a veterinary medical technology student, about programs at the university. Campbell and the college recently signed a transfer agreement, enabling CCCC’s associate degree graduates to transfer seamlessly into the university’s bachelor degree programs.
