Central Carolina Community College and Fayetteville State University signed two dual enrollment agreements Sept. 19 at the college's Lee County Campus, in Sanford. The agreements enable CCCC students in the Early Childhood Education and Broadcast Production Technology programs to take classes at the college and university concurrently to work toward a bachelor's degree. The agreements also provide a smooth transition and transfer of credits from CCCC to the university. Signing the agreements were (seated, from left) Dr. Todd Frobish, FSU chair of the Department of Communication; Dr. Lisa Chapman, CCCC vice president of Academic Affairs; CCCC President Dr. Bud Marchant; and Dr. Leontye Lewis, FSU dean of the School of Education. Also at the signing were (standing, from left) Joni Pavlik, CCCC dean of Business and Media Technologies & Public Services; Jon Matthews, CCCC dean of University Transfer and Health Science; Shari Willis, director of FSU's Teacher Education Recruiting and Advisement Office; and Billy Freeman, chair of CCCC's Media Technologies Department.
