CCCC Small Business Center aids job creation

Caren Stuart, owner of Convoluted Notions, in Sanford, had an idea for starting her own handcrafted jewelry and other gift item business. She started attending Central Carolina Community College Small Business Center seminars on small business creation and launched hers in 2005. Stuart continues to take advantage of SBC seminars, attending 13 so far this year. They help her stay current on important information for small business owners, such as marketing through social media.
