Central Carolina Community College’s fourth annual hair show competition, ‘Hollywood Style,’ on April 18, brought out the stars at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center. Cosmetology students from CCCC’s Lee and Harnett campuses, its Dunn School of Cosmetology, and the college’s barbering program showed off the skills they have learned and their creative talents at the fun show. Among those taking part were cosmetology students (from left) Alyson Williams, who made up Aigner Brown to look like singer Nikki Minaj, and Erin Childress, who was made up as ‘Jersey Shore’s’ Snooki by Kelcey White. White won first place in the event’s ‘celebrity’ category. For more information about CCCC’s cosmetology program, visit the college online at www.cccc.edu or call (800) 682-8353.
