The annual Central Carolina Community College Foundation Scholarship Luncheon provides an opportunity for scholarship donors to meet the students they are helping as well as enabling the recipients to thank them in person. At the 2010 luncheon, the Davenport family, of Sanford, came to meet the recipients of the scholarships they established in the name of John Thomas Davenport, a former Sanford businessman.
