CCCC’s Blackman honored as NCBIA Incubator Manager of the Year

The North Carolina Business Incubation Association has honored Nancy Blackman (right), director of Central Carolina Community College’s Small Business Center in Harnett County, with its David J. Batten Incubator Manager of the Year Award for 2009. Gene Fornaro (left), interim president of the NCBIA, presented the award at the association’s Fall Conference Oct. 1-2 in Asheville. Blackman, of Dunn, was honored for her support, dedication to, and work for the association. She holds the office of secretary for the NCBIA. She has been director of the college’s SBC in Harnett, as well as director for Triangle South Enterprise Center, in Dunn, since 1990.
