The North Carolina Community College System’s just-released 2009 Performance Measures and Standards Report shows that Central Carolina Community College university transfer students do well at four-year institutions. The report, part of the NCCCS’s 2009 Critical Success Factors Report, states that 91 percent of the college’s university transfer students earned a 2.0 GPA or better after two semesters at a four-year college or university. At the college’s last University Transfer Day, representatives from 16 four-year institutions spoke to university transfer/associate degree students about the opportunities each offers. Diane Hoehne (left), admissions counselor at Campbell University, in Buies Creek, talks to Jenny Tomkinson, of Lillington, a veterinary medical technology student, about programs at that university.
