Central Carolina graduates first Spanish Cosmetology class

Central Carolina Community College’s Spanish Cosmetology program in Dunn graduated its first class on May 30 in a ceremony at the college’s Harnett County Campus. Graduates (not shown in order) are Nadia Guzman, Maria Jorge Victorio, Griselda Rubio Martinez, Amada Moreno Fuentez, Julissa Ramirez, Irma Ramirez, Norma Ruiz, Monica Rodriguez, Sandra E. Aguilera Brito, Vanesa Brito Aguilera, Alejandra Davogustto, Laura Lopez, Ines Velazquez, Brigette Justiniano, Tamara Alvarado, Yolanda Carrizales, Aide Erica Guillen, Berenice Lopez, Erika G. Lopez Morales, Elizabeth Nunez, Rosa Otero, Jose Avilez, Sonia Benitez, Yessenia Gonzales, and Raul Valdivia. Their instructors were Rosa Del-Toro, and Maria B. Leija. Also attending the graduation were Bill Tyson (right), provost of the college’s Harnett County programs, and Len Royals (left), college director of continuing education in Harnett County. The students completed 1,500 hours of studies in four semesters to earn their Cosmetology Certificate. They will now sit their State Board of Cosmetic Arts examination in Spanish to obtain their license.
