Wal-Mart supports CCCC Basic Literacy

Thern Shawtown campus received the money through a Wal-Martrn Good.Works. community involvement grant and the moneyrn will go toward beautification projects for the campusrn grounds.

Deb Cox (left), assistant manager at the Siler Cityrn Wal-Mart, presented a $500 check to Judy Herndon, CCCCrn Chatham County Basic Skills recruiter, Thursday, Augustrn 25. The Siler City Wal-Mart will host the CCCC Racern 4 Literacy Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Septemberrn 24.
