Men of Academic and Distinction and Excellence (MADE)
About
The Men of Academic and Distinction and Excellence (MADE) Scholars program operates under the Division of Student Learning and exists to increase retention and transfer rates of minority males to four- year colleges/universities. The program provides an intentional learning experience via the following methods:
- Early intervention
- Guided mentorship
- Service learning
- Acquisition of skills
- Access to cultural, educational, and community resources
Mission Statement
To motivate and promote a positive college experience for minority males while providing a chance to increase leadership and networking skills that will further learning opportunities.
