The Men of Academic Distinction & Excellence and The Women of Academic Distinction & Excellence program operates under the division of Student Learning and exists to increase the persistence, retention, and transfer rates students to four-year colleges and universities.
Access to early intervention and mentoring services are provided in addition to opportunities for service learning, community and cultural events, and college and career exploration. Use the link below to complete an application for participation, or return a printed copy to the Academic Assistance Center nearest to you. (Academic Assistance Centers are located on Chatham, Harnett, and Lee main campuses.)
Opportunities exist for students to share their experience with others as well. If you are a student that has successfully completed at least two semesters at Central Carolina Community College, please consider applying to become a peer mentor. Peer mentors are responsible for guiding students to appropriate campus resources and providing positive motivation.
