Medical Insurance for Pharmacy Technicians
Overview
This course is designed to provide students the knowledge needed to process insurance claims in the Pharmacy. Topics include: knowledge of the different types of prescriptions; Administrative duties; role of technology in pharmacy billing cycle from electronic prescriptions to electronic remittance advice; and skills needed in obtaining information necessary to process prescriptions safely and efficiently.
