JSTOR
The library provides access to the Language and Literature Collection of JSTOR which is a database of full-text articles from 58 scholarly journals. JSTOR is not a current issues database. There is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. The JSTOR archive holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journals. Available only for on-campus use.
Literature Resource Center
Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Combining Gale Group's core literary databases in a single online service, the Literature Resource Center covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors. NC LIVE
North Carolina Libraries for Virtual Education (NC LIVE) offers the citizens of North Carolina online access to a diverse collection of electronic resources including complete articles from over 16,000 newspapers, journals, magazines, and encyclopedias, indexing for over 25,000 periodical titles, and access to over 25,000 online print and audio books. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
This database draws on the social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources, to provide a comprehensive source for information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles. Available for off-campus use. Oxford English Dictionary
The Oxford English Dictionary is the accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the last millennium. It is an unsurpassed guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of over half a million words, both present and past. It traces the usage of words through 2.5 million quotations from a wide range of international English language sources, from classic literature and specialist periodicals to film scripts and cookery books. Westlaw
This is a complete Internet platform that lets students perform legal research on Westlaw in an easy-to-use format. Westlaw Campus lets users quickly gather background information and review government statutes. It includes the National Reporter System, laws from all 50 states, articles from law reviews and legal encyclopedias. Available only for on-campus use. Passwords are available at the circulation desk in the library.
Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition
A multi-disciplinary database providing the complete content - indexing, abstracts, and full text - from six of Wilson's full-text databases: Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, and Wilson Business Full Text.
