Articulated Credit

About

Articulated credit allows high school students to receive college credit for technical courses they have completed while in high school. The articulation process eliminates the need for duplication of courses at the college level.

Articulated credit can benefit a student in several ways:

  • Save money: a student can potentially save hundred to thousands in college tuition and fees
  • Eliminates the need to repeat courses at the college level
  • No extra classes are required to obtain college credit-you receive articulated credit for high school classes that have already taken or are currently taking

Apply

Each high school student must obtain and have completed the necessary paperwork for articulated credit. It is the responsibility of each student to begin the process. Students who enroll at CCCC within two years of high school graduation can receive credit for the articulated course(s). Upon enrolling, contact your counselor at your high school where you took the course(s), so that the articulated credit can be verified. All forms will be available at the high school.
