The full-time program (Section I and II) is 18 weeks in length and 28 hours/week (for a total of 504 hours).
Part-time students can complete the program in one year, and it begins August 16,1010. This program includes Section I, Basic Culinary Techniques, and Section II, The Natural Chef. The Restaurant and Internship part of the program is also required.
Part-time students will attend the Basic Culinary Techniques course in the Fall 2010. Hours will be, three, 4-hour evening classes (total of 12 hours/week). Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 to 9:30. The Natural Chef (SectionII) will commence in January 2011 and the Restaurant (68 hours) and the Internship program (100-hours) will be Summer of 2011.
The college will provide a list of businesses where students may complete their internship. Students may also procure their own internship location. Note: Some hours within the program may count toward the minimum requirement.
