The primary mission of the Central Carolina Community College Foundation is to support the students, staff and faculty of the college through financial grants in areas not covered by state funds. To accomplish this mission, the Foundation was organized with a board of directors comprised of prominent citizens representing the college's three county service area. These directors inform the residents of Chatham, Harnett and Lee Counties of the goals, objectives and current needs of Central Carolina Community College.

We all know that technology is expanding more rapidly today than ever before. As the training center for business and industry in our area, our college is expected to provide the latest information available together with the most up-to-date equipment. In order for our faculty to stay on the cutting edge of technology, they must attend regularly scheduled training seminars. Many of these events are out of state and involve travel, fees and overnight expenses not covered by state funds. These expenses are funded with Foundation grants made throughout the year. In addition, many students receive financial assistance through the Foundation for tuition and books which enables them to improve their employment status and develop their potential.

There are many ways to support the work of the Foundation. Donations to existing or new endowments provide a base of permanent funding. Scholarship funds insure student support. Planned giving through bequests, trust funds and security gifts add additional assistance and periodic gifts of all sizes are always welcomed.

Private contributions enable the college to better serve the educational needs of the citizens in our area. These contributions make the difference between providing adequate programs and providing the best, most comprehensive educational programs.

The Foundation is empowered to solicit and receive gifts (whether money or other tangible assets) from individuals, partnerships, corporations or any other sources. Gifts may be directed toward specific purposes or may be given without restriction to be used as determined by the board of directors. All gifts are welcome. In addition to financial contributions, the Foundation needs gifts of time, energy, advice, guidance and leadership to support and assist CCCC in fulfilling its mission.Your gift to the CCCC Foundation can make a difference in your community.
