CCCC Foundation

When an endowment is established, the funds contributed to the endowment are invested. Only the earnings from the endowment may be disbursed. Each endowment is established for a specific purpose and the earnings may only be used for that purpose. The minimum amount required for a named endowment for the college is $10,000 (or pledges to meet this minimum within four years). Anyone may contribute to an established endowment and there is no minimum amount required. These contributions are then added to the principal of the endowment and invested so as to increase the earnings of the endowment.

Since the principal funds remain invested, endowment funds should be providing scholarships for needy CCCC students for decades. Each time a scholarship is awarded, your endowment gifts give again.
