College Support

The availability of a trained workforce brings new industry and new jobs to our area.

Our prosperity as a community is entwined with the success of CCCC to educate our citizenry. State monies only partially meet the needs of CCCC. State funds cannot meet the College's need for student financial aid, instructional support and equipment. Also, state funds come with many restrictions attached, limiting how the funds are received and disbursed.

College Support Through Our Foundation

The Central Carolina Community College Foundation was organized in 1988 to ensure the continued quality and availability of instruction in our community. The Foundation is an organization of individuals who recognize the importance of CCCC to our community.

The goal of the Foundation is to raise monies necessary to help meet some of the financial needs of our community college and its students.

The Foundation is a separate, non-profit organization that receives, holds and disburses funds for the benefit of CCCC. Foundation funds are used for the purposes of improving instruction, upgrading equipment, enhancing facilities, and offering financial assistance and services to students.

Private funds are needed to enable CCCC to continue meeting the educational needs of our community. Private contributions to the Foundation will enable CCCC to meet its objective of providing the most comprehensive educational programs.

It is the Foundation's aim to provide CCCC with the means to be the BEST community college rather than just another community college.

Although the Foundation is a separate legal entity, by its affiliation with CCCC, it serves as a vehicle for broadening the base of support for the College through the involvement of community citizens.

Central Carolina Community College needs your support. By making a contribution you become a member of the Foundation. The direct management of the Foundation is vested in its board of directors, composed of business, professional and community leaders from our 3-county area with representatives of CCCC's Board of Trustees.
