Requirements
  • Complete FAFSA
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

  • Be enrolled for at least 1 credit
  • Be enrolled in an active eligible major
  • Make Satisfactory Academic Progress

*Students that are enrolled less than full time for either Fall or Spring term, can have unused Pell Grant aid transferred to summer.

Things to keep in mind
  • The amount of Federal Pell Grant funds you may receive over your lifetime is limited by a new federal law to be the equivalent of six years of Pell Grant funding. Since the maximum amount of Pell Grant funding you can receive each year is equal to 100%, the six-year-equivalent is 600%.
