Applying to CCCC
How to apply
- To be considered for a position, an official CCCC application must be completed and submitted to the Human Resources Office by the closing date of the vacancy. An unsigned application is considered incomplete and the applicant will not be considered for employment.
- Photocopies of college transcripts must be included with the CCCC application when a degree is required. A resume may be attached but is not a substitute for the official application.
- References can be listed on the application or a separate page listing your reference contact information. You can provide letters of reference dated within the last two years.
- For each position applied for, a separate CCCC application is required. Applicants are responsible for providing all supporting documentation with each application. The Human Resources Office does not provide copies.
- CCCC applications and any other related materials can be submitted to the Human Resource Department at 1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford, NC 27330 or by FAX at 919-718-7589. Note: Faxed documents will be accepted for screening, but originals must be on file if chosen for an interview.
Hiring Process
- Applicant packets will be reviewed and applicants meeting minimum requirements will be forwarded to the Chair of the Interview Committee. The committee of 3-5current employees will review the applications and invite the top applicants for interview.
- Once interviews have been completed, the committee will make a recommendation for employment to the appropriate Vice President and President of the College. Followinga criminal background and reference check, the Director of Human Resources will contact the selected candidate to offer them the position.
- All candidates not selected for employment will be contacted by the College in writing informing them of their status in regards to the position. For updated information about the status of a particular position, please see the website job announcement.
- The College reserves the right to run criminal background checks on all candidates recommended for employment by the interview committee.
- CCCC is unable to pay interview or moving costs.
