Basic Skills Plus

College and Career Readiness students have the opportunity to expand their education beyond their High School Equivalency credential by participating in the Basic Skills Plus program. Basic Skills Plus provides accelerated job training, College and Career Readiness instruction, as well as Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) preparation for students who are functioning at the high school level. Students are concurrently enrolled in College and Career Readiness courses and occupational courses based on seven career pathways: Automotive, Culinary, Customer Service, Logistics, Machining, Nurse Aide I, and Welding. Tuition is waived for occupational courses.

Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)

The CRC proves to employers that you have the skills to do the job and improves your opportunities for employment nationwide. It also complements a high school diploma, GED®, or college degree by certifying skill levels in applied mathematics, reading for information, and locating information.
