About CCCC Distance Educaton...

Distance Education at Central Carolina Community College has expanded exponentially since the spring of 1997, when the College began offering courses taught at a distance. Only four telecourses were offered in this semester.

Since the spring semester of 1997, distance course offerings have also expanded.  In Fall 2005, Central Carolina Community College offered ninety-two distance courses through a variety of delivery methods including cassette, online, hybrid and multiformat.

The distance education department has gone from serving eighty students to serving an average of thirteen hundred students a semester.

All curriculum courses offered through distance education at Central Carolina Community College are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
