From the Registrar:
Do not assume you will be deregistered for nonpayment. If you wish to withdraw from your classes please contact Student Development at 919-718-7300. You must withdraw from your classes before the first day of the term to receive a 100% refund. If you have questions please contact Student Services at 919-718-7300.
WebAdvisor logins have been created for students. WebAdvisor is the online registration system that allows students to view grades, transcripts, view account balances, financial aid status, and search for classes.
Your WebAdvisor login will be the same as your Blackboard and Cougar Mail account. It will be the first initial of your first name, first four of your last name, and last three numbers of your student ID. Your initial password will be your birthday in the MMDDYY format. See an example below. There is also a guide to logging into WebAdvisor.
Name: Cubby Cougar
Student ID: XXXX589
WebAdvisor ID: ccoug589
You will need to change your password after your initial login.
If you have any questions please contact the Registrar’s Office at 919-718-7201.
Checking Your Grades
1) Login into WebAdvisor
2) Select Current Students
3) In Academic Profile submenu select grades
4) Select the semester and click Submit. This will show your grades as they are posted if you have no holds on your account. You can also see your unofficial transcript as well.
Transcript Requests Status
You can also use check transcript request status to see when we mailed out transcripts to other colleges. It may take us a week after grades are posted to mail out transcripts.
New Policy Regarding Developmental Grading Scale
There is also a new policy regarding developmental grading. Starting Spring 2009 the college has elected to eliminate the grade of ‘D’ from the grading scale for developmental classes. A developmental class is defined as any course with a course number under 100 (example Mat 070) that is not calculated into term or cumulative GPA.
Note: Developmental credit hours are calculated for financial aid purposes.
Developmental Grading Scale
A (94-100) Excellent
B (86-93) Above Average
C (78-85) Average
F (under 77) Failing
If you have any questions you may contact the Registrar’s Office at 919-718-7201.
