Living United is a Way of Life at CCCC

Vote Now Button

Half way through the campaign for United Way of Lee County, Linda Spivey, Employment Specialist, who is leading the drive on the Lee County Campus, says that, to date, 56% of faculty and staff have made contributions to the campaign. "It is a CCCC tradition to meet or exceed our United Way goal, " said Linda. This year that goal is $10,035. She urged those who have not yet responded to do so. Linda reminds us that CCCC Financial Aid is a beneficiary of United Way support, so a portion of your contribution comes back home to the college. The United Way campaign ends on November 5th. Update: Lee Campus Student Center

by Jan Rider, Business Services

2 students studying

"Last week during midterm break the dining area of the Lee Campus Student Center was transformed with the installation of new table tops. In recent weeks, the area has been painted a soft beige tone with a warm chocolate brown paint replacing the institutional gray on doors and windows. The floors have been repaired, cleaned, waxed and buffed. Seating has been upholstered in faux leather that compliments the rich earth tones of new tabletops, which feature a textured finish and a contrasting black edge. Renovations in the kitchen are progressing and a grand opening is approaching." Artical End
