Previous Position Held: Associate Director of Human Resources
Work History: My HR career began as Financial Secretary and Steward for UAW Local 786 in York, PA in 2002-2004, which I did while earning my undergrad. During graduate school from 2004 to 2008, I was Associate Director of the Center for Business Communication at the Moore School of Business, where I led training sessions on Intercultural Communication and other business-related topics for undergraduate students. In 2007, I completed an internship with Exxon-Mobil at their refinery site in Beaumont, TX and served as a labor liaison between union and non-union employees on site. In 2008, I joined defense company Raytheon as an HR Specialist in their Waltham, MA headquarters, and entered their HR Leadership Development Program in 2009. As a member of the HRLDP, I worked with their Integrated Defense Systems unit in Tewksbury, MA and their Space and Airborne Systems unit in El Segundo, CA. After leaving Raytheon, I was International HR Manager for a software company in Morrisville, NC, where I led domestic HR operations and supervised a HR team residing in Chennai, India.
Education: I earned my B.A. in English from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2003. In 2007, I earned my M.A. in Linguistics and my MHR in Human Resources in 2008, both from the University of South Carolina. In 2010, I was awarded the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Work History: Prior to joining CCCC, I began my career as an Information Analyst for Moore's Machine Company where I led the Program Management team for the implementation of a new inventory control system from 2006-2007. After leaving Moore's Machine Company, I held various positions with The Pantry, Inc. From 2007-2008, I served as the Retail License Renewals Coordinator and was responsible for annual renewals of over 7,000 retail licenses and a departmental budget in excess of $4.5 million. From 2008-2010, I served as a Risk Analyst where I developed, monitored, and analyzed corporate policies, internal controls, processes, and procedures for potential risks and was responsible for a $1.7 billion insurance portfolio. From 2010-2012, I served as a Curriculum Designer/Facilitator which included managing the learning, professional growth, and development of 13,000 corporate and field employees. From 2012-2013, I served as an Assistant Category Manager of Dispensed Beverage and was responsible for promotional and marketing activities, margin management, and sales development to promote strategic revenue of the dispensed beverage category with annual sales exceeding $100 million.
Education: I earned my B.S. in Business Management from UNC-Pembroke in 2006. I earned my Construction, Risk and Insurance Specialist designation in 2008. In 2009, I received my A.S. in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute. I earned my M.S. in Instructional Technology with a concentration in Business and Industry from NC A&T in 2013.

Previous Position Held: Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Work History: I began my HR career in 2003 as an HR intern with Brayton International. In 2004, I joined Moen as a Training Coordinator and HR Office Support Associate, where I assisted with recruiting, payroll, training, and other areas of HR until 2005. After leaving Moen, I was a Benefits Processor/Customer Service Representative for ACS from 2005 until I joined CCCC in 2006. In this position, I assisted in the resolution of employee transactions involving pension, retirement, etc.
Education: I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2004 and a Masters in Human Resources Management from Webster University in 2012.
