Lillington Practical Nursing consideration dates

Nursing Consideration Dates: September 3 to September 20, 2014

Accepting applications for the Practical Nursing program on the Lillington campus starting January 2014

Nursing Consideration Dates are September 3 to September 20, 2013 ending at 3 p.m. for the Lillington campus program starting spring 2014.

All information and requirements must be completed and on file with CCCC by September 20 at 3:00 p.m.

You can pick up a nursing consideration application from the Nursing counselors on the Sanford, Pittsboro, or Lillington campuses starting Sept. 3.

Return the nursing consideration application, the NC Nursing Assistant 1 transcript or certificate from an approved NC NA1 program and the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card to the Nursing counselor on the Lillington campus by September 20 at 3:00 p.m

Career Center - First Impressions and the Importance of Effective Branding During the Interview

To enhance your interviewing skills, the workshop, First Impressions and the Importance of Effective Branding During the Interview is being sponsored by the Career Center on the Lee County (Sanford) Campus of Central Carolina Community College. The purpose of this workshop is to assist individuals with understanding the techniques of articulating and communicating who you are from a professional standpoint to prospective Employers. This workshop will lead through a variety of subjects geared towards providing extensive knowledge about the product you are marketing...YOU!

Information and hands-on instruction will be provided on the following topics:

  • Discussion on the Three (3) Types of Professional Interview Styles and Approaches
  • How to Dress for Success
  • How to Strategically Answer Those 'Difficult Interview Questions'
  • What questions to ASK During the Interview
  • Preparation of a personalized Thank You for the Interview Note
  • How and When to Perform Follow Up After the Interview
