Parking

Parking Policies by Campus

Parking decals are assigned by campus. If a student is taking classes on the Lee and Harnett campus, he/she must have a decal from each campus.

  • Lee Campus
    • All students must display a Lee Campus parking decal on the driver's side front window
    • Students should only park in the white-lined parking spaces
    • Students will be assessed a $5.00 fine when parking in faculty and staff spaces or other designated, reserved, or no parking areas (such as Cosmetology patron parking or Visitor parking)
  • Chatham Campus
    • No parking decals are required for this campus
    • Students are permitted to park in any white-lined parking space
  • Harnett Campus
    • All students must display a Harnett Campus parking decal on the driver's side rear window or bumper
    • Students should only park in the white-lined parking spaces located in the rear of each building
    • Staff and Visitor parking spaces are located in the front of each building
    • Students will be assessed a $5.00 fine when parking in faculty and staff spaces or other designated, reserved, or no parking areas (such as Cosmetology patron parking or Visitor parking)

Cost of Parking

The cost of parking is included within the student fees that are assessed upon registration. Student fees are based upon the amount of credit hours that a student registers. Refer to the tuition rate table for further information.

Parking Decals

Parking Decals are assigned by campus. If a student is taking classes on the Lee and Harnett campus, he/she must have a decal from each campus.

  • Lee Campus
    • A parking decal may be obtained in the Business Office located in Hockaday Hall (Building 09)
    • Required information needed to obtain a parking decal:
      • Student's Central Carolina Student ID number
      • Student Contact Information
      • Year, Make, Model of vehicle
      • License Tag number of vehicle
    • Students are permitted to register two vehicles. Additional vehicles may be allowed with permission from the Business Office.
  • Chatham Campus
    • No parking decal is required
  • Harnett Campus
    • A parking decal may be obtained in the Business Office located in the Sam Miriello Administration Building (Building 33)
    • Required information needed to obtain a parking decal:
      • Student's Central Carolina Student ID number
      • Student Contact Information
      • Year, Make, Model of vehicle
      • License Tag number of vehicle

Fines

Students will be assessed a $5.00 fine, on the Lee and Harnett Campus, when parking in faculty and staff spaces or other designated, reserved, or no parking areas (such as Cosmetology patron parking or Visitor parking)

If the fine is not paid the student will be subject to the following:

  • The student will not be able to receive his/her grades
  • The student will not be able to receive a transcript
  • The student will not be able to register for subsequent curriculum or continuing education courses
  • Account may be subjected to the collections policies and procedures
