- Does the Bookstore sell gift cards and/or certificates? Yes, the Bookstore sells both gift cards and certificates. return to top
- How often does merchandise and apparel change in the Bookstore? Typically, the items in the Bookstore are changed once a year (sometimes more often). return to top
- Does the Bookstore sell used textbooks? Yes, the Bookstore does sell used textbooks. However, some textbooks are not available as used, such as workbooks or ones that contain an access code available for only one user. return to top
Payment
- What are the methods that an individual can purchase items from the Bookstore? An individual can make a purchase either in-store or via telephone. return to top
- What payment methods do you accept? The Bookstore accepts the following methods of payment: cash, check, credit card (Visa & MasterCard), and financial aid. return to top
- Do you accept out-of-state checks? Yes, out-of-state checks are accepted if they have current and correct information printed on them. return to top
- What is the refund policy? Refunds are given only with the original receipt. Final return date is the same date the Registrar sets for final refunds. Book must be returned in the same condition as purchased (still in shrink wrap) for 75% refund. return to top
Hours of Operation
- What are the Bookstore regular hours of operation? The Bookstore is open on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. return to top
- When does the Bookstore have special hours of operation? The Bookstore has special hours of operation during registration periods and through drop/add periods. These hours will be posted at the Bookstore location and online during this time period. return to top
Book Buyback
- When is Book Buyback? Book Buyback is held at the end of each semester during exam week. Dates and times will be posted at campus locations and online during this time period. return to top
- How does Book Buyback work? If the same textbook is being used for the upcoming semester, you may sell them back to the Bookstore. If the college is not offering that particular class, then you may have the opportunity to sell them back to the used book company. return to top
- Will the Bookstore accept all textbooks during Book Buyback? No. The textbook must be the current edition, unless the instructor specifies that an old edition will be used. If an old edition is used, then it will be at a reduced price. return to top
Delivery of Textbooks
- Can I have my books sent to a campus location in another county? Yes. You can have books sent to any of the three main campus locations or mailed. return to top
- Do you charge shipping? Yes, the Bookstore does charge shipping. The cost is $8.00 per textbook. return to top
- If I am a Distance Education student, how do I receive my textbooks? Students should contact the Bookstore at (919) 718-7275 or (800) 682-8353, ext. 7275 with their information. The Bookstore will then mail textbooks through UPS. return to top
- Do you ship to post office boxes? No. It has to be a physical address. return to top
- How long does it take to process an order? The typical time period is 24 to 48 hours. return to top
