Biofuels
Curriculum Program
After years of success offering courses through continuing education, CCCC made the move to a full time biofuels curriculum in 2007 thanks to a grant from the NC BioNetwork. CCCC is the first community college in North Carolina to offer a biofuels curriculum and looks forward to aiding the growth of the biofuels industry in North Carolina through small business development and workforce training.
The biofuels program is an interdisciplinary curriculum combining chemistry, biotechnology, industrial design, sustainable agriculture, and energy resource management. Students will also have the opportunity to work with the biofuels industry through education outreach and a cooperative learning experience.

Testimonials
Central Carolina was just a great environment. The people were friendly, the classes were small, and I was able to get involved in things like sports and tutoring.

I was skeptical about going to a community college at first. When I started at CCCC, I realized I made the right choice. The instructors really love what they do.
