Join Holiday Efforts with the Salvation Army

Each year Salvation Army members and volunteers work with hundreds of needy families.

As of November 7, Savation Army volunteers had identified 723 children who meet the criteria for this program. In most cases, it is a single mother with few resources and no family support asking for an item of clothing and a gift (toy) for her child. Choosing to "adopt" one of these children ensures that they will have some warm clothes for the winter and a special gift on Christmas morning.

Along with many other organizations in our community, Central Carolina Community College has agreed to work with the Salvation Army to help these children.

If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact Bobby Wicker at bwicker@cccc.edu, or call 919-718-7238.  Salvation Army volunteers will be available to receive your gifts at the National Guard Armory on December 12th and 13th, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
